Corona police Sgt. Jon Stofila says the guard, whose name hasn't been released, was picking up money from a Bank of America branch just before noon Monday when the three armed robbers ambushed him. The sergeant says there was gunfire, but it's unclear how many shots were fired. The three masked men then fled on foot without any cash. It's unclear if any of them was wounded.

Protected the cash, didn't pop any customers ... a good days work ...
