Sounds like the judge recognized that he didn't really have a lot of choice ...The father of the convicted shooter in the Rogersville Wal-Mart sniper case was sentenced to one year in prison Friday for attempting to help his son hide from police days after the shooting. Ronald Eugene Brewer Sr., 54, 126 Bailey Johnson Road, Rogersville, pleaded guilty Friday to accessory after the fact, a Class E felony. He was sentenced by Judge John Dugger to one year in prison and fined $100. He will be eligible for parole after serving 30 percent of his sentence.
