Security ... think about it!
In less than three months, a man known, only by a nickname that was given by law enforcement, has robbed at least 14 Orange County banks, authorities said. The first three robberies attributed to the suspect, done in early December, were done in consecutive days. Since then, a $20,000 reward has been issued for information leading up to the arrest of the man, described as a 6-foot Caucasian man of average build. He is believed to be about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and was described by some witnesses as having crooked, gapped teeth. Authorities dubbed the robber "The Blue Note Bandit" after he used a blue sheet of paper as a demand note. In more than a dozen robberies, he has seldom strayed from his repetitive mode of operation, Amormino said.
