One event that required skills in design was the Cardboard Duct Tape Boat Race at the J.L. Sorenson P.E. Building swimming pool. The object of the contest was for participants to design and build a boat made from cardboard and duct tape that would carry two people across the pool the fastest without sinking.

If college were this fun all the time, everyone would go.
