"I receive a text from my daughter saying, 'Dad, these girls are going to jump me at lunch, I'm afraid and I can't take this anymore,'" Gerard said. Michael Gerard said right after that text message, he rushed to the school."And all I was met with is, 'Well you can go downstairs and check on her and make sure she's safe,'" Gerard said. "All their remedy was, was 'just don't go outside.'"Gerard said he wasn't allowed to speak to school administrators and ended up leaving."Seventeen minutes from the time I left the school, my daughter got jumped," Gerard said.
