According to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department, Juan Gabriel Gonzalez, 29, forced his way into Brother’s Market by cutting a hole into the roof, and was caught on tape collecting cash and other items throughout the building as smoke began to accumulate. Gonzalez, who is from the Lindsay and Visalia area, was alone inside the store. An autopsy conducted Thursday revealed the cause of his death as smoke inhalation, but lab results are still pending.
