Two Naxals were on Sunday killed in an encounter in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district, police said. After receiving a tip-off about some Naxal activity near Gumiyapal village under the Kirandul station area, a police team reached the place, Superintendent of Police, Dantewada, Amresh Mishra said.
Bodies of six people, including the Sarpanch and his relatives, were found 12 km away from Manpur Mohallah in Rajnandgaon district. They were kidnapped about a week ago by the Naxals, who suspected them of police informers.
