Security ... think about it!
Mr. Ahmadinejad has been quite quotable this week, intent on stirring the pot before the summit for some reason- to what end who knows. At a gathering celebrating “National Persian Gulf Day” just a day earlier, Ahmadinejad had accused Western powers of wanting to dominate the Middle East because it is the center of civilization, culture, foreign affairs and from there the U.S. planned on taking over the entire world. He also accused the U.S. of being an “enemy of truth and using deception and fraud.” And, somehow maintaining a straight face, he said Iran has long been a defender of “freedom of religion, freedom of expression, freedom of information and freedom of ideas."
