A driver who has shot at the rear windshields of passing vehicles for the past three weeks on four local freeways continues to elude officials. But California Highway Patrol officers from the Inland Division have not given up on the search and vow to continue their investigation until the shooter is caught. "Officers and investigators are still combing through the calls and contacting witnesses," said Mario Lopez, public information coordinator for the CHP. "They are still trying to find out how many (victims) there are."
