Security ... think about it!
“As guardians of our democratic institutions, we, your soldiers, are prepared and intent to safeguard your votes and your most fundamental rights to choose our leaders. We will put our lives on the line, go out of [our] comfort zones and stand firm with the people in making sure that they will be able to meaningfully exercise their democratic rights. This is our vow to the nation. This is our covenant with [the] people. And this is our solemn pledge before the flag,” Bangit said. “We pledge our commitment. We pledge our life, treasure and our sacred honor,” he added. Bangit said the military shares the concern of the people on the Precinct Count Optical Scan machines that did not work properly during random testing early this last week, but said this problem will be overcome.
