Security ... think about it!
The Utah legislature is considering a bill that is meant to encourage concealed carry in private businesses. Under Utah law, a private business can restrict those who carry concealed on their property by either posting a sign that firearms are prohibited or by informing their employees that carry a concealed firearm is not allowed. Traditionally, if someone where to come onto the private property, pull a firearm and injure someone, the private property owner could be held liable for the injury. Under H.B.380 a private employer would be held liable for the actions of one of its employees that pulls a firearm.
