The Orange County Sheriff's Department called the suspect the most prolific bank robber in Orange County history. He was given the moniker because in some of the heists, he used blue paper for demand notes. Investigators say his demand notes usually read, "large bills quickly." The so-called "Blue Note Bandit" is suspected in a string of as many as 15 robberies over the last two months, mainly in south and central Orange County.
