A nuclear submarine fire at the Zvezdochka shipyard in north Russia's Arkhangelsk Region was put out at 05:58 a.m. Moscow time (02:58 GMT) on Saturday, according to a company source. Local authorities said the fire had started in the hold of the third compartment of the K-480 Ak Bars nuclear submarine being scrapped on Friday at about 02:45 p.m. (11:45 GMT). None of almost 70 people involved in the firefighting operation has been injured.
